This site was designed to be a clearinghouse of Ranch Properties for Sale in the Texas Hill Country.

I wanted it to be simple for you to quickly see what is for sale, and effortlessly compare price and features.

With this end in mind, I do much of the footwork for you… I search newspaper ads, all those fancy, glossy “Ranch For Sale” magazines, area realtor websites, and all 5 of the major Multiple Listing Services (MLS) to find property for sale in this area of the Hill Country.

Once I find a suitable property, I place it on the map page. Each property is coded by its main characteristic… Raw land, Land with Homes, Land with “live” or “seasonal” water on it, and Land on or near one of the major lakes in the area. Clicking on the appropriate buttons on the Navigation Bar along the top of the page allows you to look at just the type of property you are interested in. You can further restrict your search by clicking on the box to the right of the map… Ranches up to 100 acres in size, or Ranches with at least 100 acres.

As another service, I have included an area where local landowners can display any land they wish to lease to hunters.

Once you find a ranch you might be interested in, click to send me an email. I prefer to “meet” you via email for a number of reasons. The main reason is that I am frequently out of cell phone range. Also, it gives us a chance to get to know one another a bit, and establish a working relationship. This is important, in that virtually all of the ranches listed require all Showing Agents to “vouch” for their clients so that the Listing Agents and Sellers’ time isn’t wasted with non serious showings.
